Why professional prints?
Would you buy an expensive steak from a 5 star restaurant but ask them to give it to you raw to save money, and then bring it to McDonald's and ask them to cook it? If not, then why pay for a five-star photography experience and for me to professionally edit your photos, just to take it to a teenager at Target to print at a machine that distorts the colors, sharpness and overall quality... see what I mean? There is a better option.
If you are working with me, you obviously care a lot about quality and are willing to invest in high-quality photography. I edit each and every photo meticulously, and I want you to have professional print options so that you can have printed photos that retain their color, clarity and overall quality.
I offer flexible pricing and a la carte options in case you decide to opt out of professional prints, and all digitals come with a print release, which means you are always able to print your photos where and when you want (even via the teenager at the Target counter if that is what you choose lol!)
However, all packages come with a "print credit" which is simply a gift card to purchase professional quality prints easily and conveniently through your digital gallery. I guarantee once you see the difference in professional prints and products, you will understand why this is so important and valuable, and you won't be hanging Wal-Mart prints on your wall anymore!

FAMILY PORTRAITS:
I focus on authentic personalities, genuine connections and real smiles. I love to help pose you in ways that allow you or your family to interact naturally with both me and with each other. My goal is to make the experience fun and I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to make everyone feel comfortable. I like to shoot at locations that are kid-friendly/safe with reduced distractions and lots of options.
LIFESTYLE SESSIONS:
I call these "stylized" lifestyle sessions because I try to guide you into choosing a location and/or activity that fits your personal vibe or that fits your family. We will maximize laughter and beautiful light, and tell your family's unique story.
SENIORS:
Celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime milestone with a unique, personalized & fashion forward experience. Options include professional hair and makeup, style/wardrobe and location consultation. Check out the style closet which has some of my favorite pieces of clothing. Style closet access is free with your session!
What should we wear?
Be YOU. Be bold! Step away from the match-matchy stuff. Consider comfort, style and limitations of the location, and weather! Dress to impress but also stay comfortable! Also, I am here to help and I'm happy to give advice on what does and doesn't photograph well, and some sessions even include a wardrobe and location consult :)
When do you shoot portraits?
I shoot portrait sessions on weekdays and weekday evenings. If we are shooting outdoors, I prefer early morning or close to sunset to get that gorgeous glowy light but I will shoot any time of day. However, I ask is that if you want a session in harsh midday sun, that you allow me to assist you in choosing a location with lots of shade so we still achieve great skin tones and the evenly-lit look that you see in my portfolio.
